Because of this, they do not require their own power supplies. There are no software drivers to be installed.

Our Network Isolators are based upon specially developed transformers which,  depending upon model, reach dielectric strengths of up to 6000 V AC and 8500 V DC, and meet the highest protection requirements with their triple-coated isolation structures. Furthermore, they transmit data with minimal signal losses, generally allowing Ethernet cabling up to the usual maximum of 100 metres to be used without reductions of data throughput.
